Why We Built MySakhiCare
Our founder Aisha was 24 when she was finally diagnosed with PCOS — after three years of irregular periods, unexplained weight gain, and a crushing fatigue that doctors dismissed as "stress." Like millions of Indian women, she had been logging her symptoms in notes apps, trying to make sense of patterns that no doctor had time to explain.
She tried every period tracking app on the market. They all showed her a calendar with a red dot. None of them helped her understand why she felt different each week, why her energy crashed before her period, or what she could actually do about it.
So she built what she wished had existed. She assembled a team of OB-GYNs, endocrinologists, ML engineers, and UX designers with a single mandate: build the most medically credible, privacy-respecting, and genuinely useful women's health platform in India.
MySakhiCare is not just an app. It is a movement. A movement to close the gender health gap in India, one cycle at a time.
